Multi-Generation Farm

Myron and Linda Tank and their children make the third and fourth generations on this mainly corn and soybean farm southeast of St. Paul, Minnesota. They earned the 2010 Minnesota Farm Families of the Year award for their on-farm efforts with technology and conservation and their community involvement. As an effort to help educate their suburban neighbors about agriculture, the children started a summer sweet corn, fall pumpkin and produce business. They also raised beef cattle and hogs to show in 4-H and FFA.
